Chocolate-Butterscotch Chip Cookies
- 1 cup ( 226g) butter ( please…no shortening…!)
- 1 1/2 cups ( 300g) brown sugar ( yes, that is right…all brown sugar!)
- 2 eggs
Cream the first three ingredients together in a bowl until nice and fluffy.
- 2 1/2 cups flour if you’re in the States, if your in Germany then 2 3/4 cups. I used whole wheat today
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch ( In German its Speisestärke)
Mix the remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. Then add to creamed egg mixture.
Add about 2 cups of chocolate and 1 cup butterscotch chips. Mix well. ( try it with all chocolate chips and add crushed walnuts!!)
Drop 2 inch sized balls on parchment lined baking trays.
Bake for 10-12 minutes in an over preheated to 375F ( 190C) .
